Laser correction of far sightedness
Far-sightedness may be caused by the following factors: the curve of the cornea is too small, or the surface is too flat or the axis of the eyeball is too short. This causes the focalpoint of the light to fall behind the retina. Far-sighted people have blurred vision when viewing objects near or far, but at a young age the eye is capable of compensating for the defect and far-sightedness remains unnoticable.
Laser procedures treat far-sightedness by increasing the curve of the cornea and bringing the focal point forward onto the retina.
Treatment up to +6,0 D.
