Dr. Csilla Palotás

I graduated from Semmelweis University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine with a Republican Scholarship and Summa Cum Laude. I also passed the specialist examinations in ophthalmology and contactology with excellent results. I was a specialist ophthalmologist and research fellow at the Eye Clinic I. of Semmelweis University of Medicine and Health Sciences, and subsequently a specialist ophthalmologist at Optimum Vision Center since 2000, and from 2012 till 2022 was the institute’s chief physician. My speciality is refractive surgery. I have more than 50 lectures, articles and training courses to my credit. I was awarded first prize at the SOTE Anatomy Institution’s Scientific Student Conference in 1988. At the conference of the Hungarian Society of Ophthalmology I was awarded first place for the Best Under 40 Lecturer in 2003. I have been and still am a participant of several study trips and training courses, among others at the Femtolaser Congress Instructional Course in Verona, at the Contactology Training ofThe Vision Care Institute in Prague or at the Bausch&Lomb C-LASIK course in Budapest.
