Laser vision correction is a widely applicable therapy, however, not everyone is eligible for surgery. Still, you do not have to give up the possibility of clear vision. Depending on the condition of your eyes, you can have several options for vision correction.
For high-dioptre values, refractive lens surgery (clear lens extraction or lens replacement surgery) may present an alternative solution during which the eye’s own lens is removed and an artificial lens is implanted into the eye, similar to cataract surgery.
The new implanted artificial lens will provide customised good far visual acuity based on accurate planning. Multifocal artificial lenses enable us in addition to sharp far vision to read even without glasses and see our phone, television or computer screen clearly again.
If surgery is not an option, traditional corrective eyewear such as glasses and contact lenses are still available.
In this case, we will give you a recommendation based on investigation with our special diagnostic tools to amend your glasses or contact lenses, or if needed advise you to use your previous eyewear.
With our experienced specialist team and state-of-the-art equipment, we can provide complex care for your eye problems.
