For farsighted (hypermetropic) eyes, the curving of the cornea is too little, its surface is too flat, or the eyeball is shorter than necessary. Thereby, the light beams will focus behind the plane of the retina.
The painless laser therapy will treat near-sightedness by increasing the curving of the cornea. Thereby, the focus point of the light will be shifted into the plane of the retina, resolving vision problems.
In general, treatment range for farsightedness is from plus 1.0 dioptre to plus 6.0 dioptres, depending on the corneal thickness. In all cases, possible treatment techniques and treatment programmes are defined based on individual medical assessment.
At Optimum Eye Center, experienced professionals and the most modern technologies are available for laser eye surgeries.
