With proper care and regular screening, diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, visual impairment caused by diabetes, dry eyes and other eye diseases can be prevented and diagnosed early.

When should you book an eye examination?
Ideally, you should have an eye test once a year.
You might need to have your eyes checked more often if you:
- spend a lot of time in front of a screen and suffer from dry eyes
- have diabetes
- are aged 40 or over and have a family history of glaucoma
- are aged 55 or over and have a family history of cataracts
- are experiencing eye problems
