PROSCAN Touch Free 7D+ is the most advanced surface treatment available. The entire procedure is performed using Bausch + Lomb’s latest-generation excimer laser, the TENEO™ 317 M2 which removes the epithelium and corrects refractive errors in a single, touch-free step with micron-level precision. Unlike other laser eye surgeries, this method does not require flap creation, cutting, or the use of mechanical tools.

The core of the PROSCAN method is correcting refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism) while preserving the cornea’s natural shape and biomechanical function.
The treatment recognises that the cornea is not a perfect sphere, and reshapes its surface in a way that more closely follows the eye’s true optical anatomy.
This ensures that vision is not only sharp but also natural and comfortable, both during the day and at night.

The treated surface re-epithelializes within a few days. During this period, you may experience discomfort, a foreign body sensation, and light sensitivity. Sharp vision develops gradually.

The TENEO™ laser beam’s unique energy distribution (“truncated Gauss”) ensures that the laser energy affects only the targeted area of the cornea and only to the necessary extent.
