Dr. Emília Hatos

After graduating from Semmelweis University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, I served as an ambulance officer, and then passed the ophthalmic specialist examination with excellent result, followed by the paediatric ophthalmic specialist examination. I practised at the department of paediatric ophthalmology at Heim Pál Hospital and the department of ophthalmology at Szent István Hospital. I am a lecturer and organiser of education courses in paediatric ophthalmology and author of several publications in the field of paediatric ophthalmology. My main tasks are the managing and organisation of paediatric eye care in the South Pest region and its periphery, participation in paediatric eye screening and professional management. Since 1991 I have my private practice in ophthalmology and paediatric ophthalmology. I am a member of the Hungarian Society of Ophthalmology, the Hungarian Glaucoma Society and a founding member of the Hungarian Society of Pediatric Ophthalmologists and Strabologists.
