Dr. Gábor Markó

I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at SemmelweisUniversity of Medicine and Health Sciences, in Budapest, and then I also passed the ophthalmic specialist examination. I was an adjunct professor at the Ophthalmology Department of Defence Forces Central Hospital, and then I was a senior physician at the Ophthalmology Department of the HM State Medical Centre. Since 2011 I have been an ophthalmologist at Optimum Vision Center. I am a member of the Hungarian Medical Chamber, the Hungarian Society of Ophthalmology (MSZT), the Hungarian Refractive Surgical and Intraocular Lens Implantation Society(SHIOL) and the Hungarian Diabetes Association. My research areas include instrumental diagnostic studies of the anterior and posterior segments of the eye, as well as special informatics issues of data processing and storage.
