For 15 years I have been working at the Ophthalmology Department of the Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Hospital as a specialist and from 2022 as a head physician. I joined the team of ophthalmic specialists at Optimum Vision Center in 2022. For a decade I have been performing eye surgeries as part of same-day surgical care at the Vecsési Specialist Medical Practice, Budai Irgalmasrendi Hospital and Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Hospital.

My specialties are cataract and posterior segment (vitreous, retina) surgery.

I have been a participant of numerous study trips and education courses, and I am currently continuing to attend education courses, as well as participate and give lectures at national and international congresses. In 2013, I was awarded first prize at the video competition of the Hungarian Refractive Surgical and Intraocular Lens Implantation Society’s Congress.
I have been actively involved in human international clinical trials for the development of new innovative ophthalmic drugs, devices and procedures for 15 years.

My areas of expertise include cataract surgery (Phacoemulsification, Femto-cataract surgery), conservative and surgical treatment of glaucoma, Nd-YAG laser treatments, retinal diseases (age-related macular degeneration -AMD), diabetic retinopathy, ocular venous disorders (ocular thrombosis), other diseases of the retina, treatment of retinal diseases – intravitreal injections (injections into the vitreous), laser treatments of the fundus, and modern fundus examination techniques: optical coherence tomography (OCT) and fluorescein angiography (FLAG).

I am also experienced in posterior segment surgery (vitreous, retina): surgical treatment of retinal detachment, complications of diabetic retinopathy, epiretinal membranes, macular holes, some complications of cataract surgery, inflammatory diseases of the inner eye: diagnostic sampling in endophthalmitis and uveitis, and removal of major opacities of the vitreous.
